Traditionally, large-format presses that automate the processing of sheet materials rely on automatic gripper take-off systems (known in the industry as 3/4 automatic machines). However, these specific mechanisms simply cannot safely or effectively grab and unload materials with exceptional weight, such as large glass or metal sheets.
To completely overcome this structural limitation, the NEW VERTICAL is equipped with a highly advanced sliding printing table (also widely referred to as a shuttle table). At the end of every single print cycle, the heavy-duty printing table automatically slides out from under the printing head, moving directly towards the operator. This smart engineering feature drastically simplifies the manual loading, registration, and unloading operations compared to standard clamshell semiautomatic machines.
