UNIGLASS MC2: Automatic screen printing machine for large glass sheets

In stock

The UNIGLASS MC2 model is the heavy-duty automatic screen printing machine engineered by Mismatic to completely revolutionize the production workflows of industrial glassworks and the architectural and furniture sectors. Unlike the standard version designed for smaller formats, this massive equipment has been specifically engineered to flawlessly handle and process large glass sheets.
Despite the exceptional size and immense weight of the substrates, the highly robust mechanical structure guarantees a perfectly uniform, opaque, and smudge-free ink deposit. It is the ultimate B2B solution for printing, decorating, and applying functional coatings to huge windows, heavy glass doors, and large room dividers, ensuring premium quality standards across massive areas.

Machine layout and smart operating modes

The structural architecture of the UNIGLASS MC2 model has been meticulously designed to fully facilitate the handling of large glass sheets. The machine layout is strategically divided into three main sections:

  • Loading unit heavily equipped with transmission belts and a tilting rack.
  • Screen printing unit (the core printing station of the press).
  • Unloading unit equipped with transmission belts and a tilting rack.

Thanks to this highly advanced layout, the machinery offers two distinct operating modes to perfectly suit your specific factory production line:

a) Standalone unit: the massive glass sheet is safely loaded by the operator via the tilting rack of the loading unit. It is then accurately pre-registered and automatically transported under the print head. After being registered with high precision, the sheet is perfectly screen printed and moved towards the unloading unit. At this point, it can be safely unloaded via the corresponding tilting rack or sent directly into the curing oven (not included).
b) Inline unit: the heavy glass sheet seamlessly arrives from a line upstream of the machine. It is pre-registered by the loading unit and continuously transported under the print head. After being firmly registered, the glass is screen printed and smoothly moved towards the unloading unit. At this stage, operating without any manual intervention, it can be automatically sent to a downstream line for subsequent processing or curing.
