The mechanical advantage of the swing cylinder system for continuous printing

When it comes to automated cylinder printing in the industry, there are two distinct mechanical designs: the “stop” cylinder and the “swing” cylinder versions. While a stop cylinder rotates in a single continuous direction and pauses between prints, the MATIC SCREEN & ROLL is proudly equipped with a highly reliable classic “swing” cylinder mechanics. In our advanced swing system, the cylinder continuously reverses its rotation for every single printed sheet: it smoothly rotates forward during the actual print stroke, and then immediately rotates backwards to return to its initial pick-up position.
